Devarko Australia

Web development for Australian small and mid-size businesses

Devarko builds marketing sites, web applications and customer portals in Next.js, React and Laravel. We are headquartered in Australia with a senior engineering studio in Lahore, and the platforms we build run real businesses in three countries. The rates make sense for yours.

What we build

Devarko builds marketing sites, custom web applications and customer portals for small and mid-size businesses. We also build the systems that sit behind online selling: product catalogues, booking and quoting tools, member areas and dashboards that talk to your existing software. If it runs in a browser and needs to work reliably, it is the kind of project we take on.

Seven client platforms are live right now across Pakistan, Kuwait and the USA, including the Bright Future e-learning platform in Kuwait, the Ilmversity school LMS, and three veterinary platforms serving the US market. We also run Cargonio, our own freight ERP, live with two companies. You can browse the full portfolio at devarko.com/work.

  • Marketing sitesFast, search-ready sites that explain what you do and get found. They pair naturally with our SEO service.
  • Web applicationsCustom tools for quoting, bookings, inventory, learning or logistics, built to fit how your business actually runs.
  • Customer portalsSecure logins where your clients track orders, download documents or manage their accounts without ringing you first.
  • Selling and e-commerce toolsCatalogues, carts and payment flows, either standalone or wired into the platforms you already use.

The stack: Next.js, React and Laravel

We build front ends in Next.js and React, and back ends in Laravel. These are boring choices in the best way: widely used, well documented and easy for any competent developer to pick up later, so you are never locked into us. When a project needs a companion mobile app, we build it in React Native, and the web and mobile products share one API and one source of truth.

Fast and accessible by default

Performance and accessibility are not paid extras. Every site we ship is built to load quickly on Australian mobile networks, work with screen readers and keyboards, and hold up under Google's Core Web Vitals. Our own site is the test bed: devarko.com scores 97 to 99 for performance and 100 for SEO on Lighthouse, and we hold client work to the same standard.

Speed matters commercially, not just technically. A slow site costs you rankings and enquiries before anyone reads a word. That is why our SEO service and our development work share the same foundations: clean markup, fast loads and pages Google can read without guessing.

From brief to launch

Every project starts with a conversation, not a form. We work out what the site or application actually needs to do, write it down in plain language, and quote against that scope. You deal directly with the people planning your build, and the engineering is delivered by our senior team in Lahore. That structure keeps rates sensible without the quality lottery of hiring anonymous freelancers.

Time zones help rather than hurt. Lahore mornings line up with Australian afternoons, so calls, demos and urgent fixes happen inside your business hours. You will not be emailing into the void and waiting a full day for every answer.

  • Brief and scopingA working session to pin down goals, pages, features and integrations, followed by a written scope and quote.
  • Design and buildWeekly progress you can click on, staged at a private URL from the first fortnight.
  • Content and reviewWe load your content, test on real phones and tidy the details before anyone else sees it.
  • Launch and handoverDNS, hosting, analytics and a walkthrough of how to update things yourself.

What it costs

Honest ranges, with the usual caveat that scope moves the number. A focused marketing site of five to ten pages typically lands between $6,000 and $15,000 AUD. A custom web application or customer portal usually starts around $20,000 and can pass $60,000 once integrations, user roles and payment flows stack up. Every figure we quote follows a written scope, so you know what the number includes before you commit.

The Lahore studio is why those numbers are lower than a capital-city agency quoting the same build. You get senior engineers who have shipped e-learning, marketplace and freight platforms now live in three countries, without paying Sydney office rents. The saving is structural, not a corner cut.

After launch

Websites decay without care: dependencies age, integrations change and content goes stale. We offer monthly maintenance covering updates, backups, uptime monitoring and small content changes, usually between $150 and $500 AUD a month depending on the site. Application support is scoped separately. There is no lock-in; the code is yours and the documentation is written so another developer could take over.

The proof is in who keeps using the work. Raheel, CEO of Skyline Cargo Marketing, and Adeel Ahmed, Managing Director of Kare Cargo International, both run their freight operations on platforms we built. Their words are on our work page, alongside the rest of the portfolio.

Questions

Good things to ask us.

Who will actually build our website?
Devarko is headquartered in Australia and the engineering is done by our own senior team in Lahore. They are our staff, not subcontractors, and they are the same engineers behind the seven client platforms live in Pakistan, Kuwait and the USA. You get one point of contact here, direct access to the engineers when it helps, and more on how the studio is set up on our home page.
How long does a build take?
A marketing site usually takes four to eight weeks from signed scope to launch, mostly depending on how quickly content and feedback arrive from your side. Web applications typically run three to six months. We give a timeline with the quote and flag early if anything moves it.
Can you take over a site another developer built?
Yes. We start with a paid audit of the code, hosting and performance, then give you a plain-language report on what is worth keeping. If the site runs on a common stack such as React, Next.js or Laravel we can usually work with it, and if a rebuild is genuinely cheaper than a rescue, we will say so.
Do you handle SEO as well?
Yes. SEO is our other core service, and it works best when the site underneath is fast and technically clean, which is how we build in the first place. See SEO services for how the two fit together, or reach us through the contact page and tell us what you are trying to rank for.
